Architecural fire rated metal door frames can be designed and manufactured to suit various steel or timber stud walls. The following architectural profiles are available for Drywall fire rated metal door frames:

Fire Rated Architectural Profiles

Fire rated double door frames are only for 45-47 mm doors, therefore 51 mm rebate is required. Pro Industries Fire rated metal door frames are manufactured to AS1905.1 2005. All fire rated metal door frames need to be backfilled.

Fixing Methods for Drywall

• Stud Clips

  Suitable for use in non-rated plasterboard partition walls.

• 

• Strap Fixings

  Suitable for use in non-rated and one hour fire-rated plasterboard partition walls. Available to suit linings of 16mm, 13mm, 10mm and 6mm.
